1. Agreement
By using the UrgeLock app or this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
2. What UrgeLock is
UrgeLock is a behaviour-change app that helps people reduce or stop smoking and vaping. It records what you log, shows you your own patterns, and guides you through short actions when a craving hits.
3. Not medical care
UrgeLock is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Recovery timings shown in the app are general public-health figures, not measurements of your body. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist before changing medication, and especially if you are pregnant, have heart or lung conditions, or are considering nicotine replacement therapy. If you are in crisis, contact your local emergency services.
4. Your responsibilities
- Use UrgeLock only if you are 18 or older (it carries an 18+ age rating because it deals with tobacco and vaping), for its intended purpose, and follow the law where you live.
- Make your own health decisions; do not rely on the app alone for serious dependence or mental-health conditions.
- Keep your device secure — your data is stored on it.
5. Free and paid features
Logging, the 24-hour learning phase, your pattern report and one guided craving session are free. Premium unlocks guided help for every craving, AI coaching and live Coach Calls with an AI voice coach (only if you allow them), craving reminders and personal gap targets. Coach Call minutes are limited each month (15 on Monthly, 60 on Yearly), and every account gets one free trial call.
- Premium Monthly renews every month. Premium Yearly renews every year and includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
- Prices are shown in your store’s currency in the app, in the App Store and in Google Play, and can differ by country.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account or Google Play account at confirmation (for the yearly plan, when the free trial ends).
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Cancel in Settings → your name → Subscriptions (iPhone) or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android). Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
6. Refunds
Purchases are made through Apple or Google, so refunds follow their policies and are their decision. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases, but we will help you with the request — write to support@urgelock.com.
7. Your data
How we handle data is described in the privacy policy. In short: your logs stay on your phone, our servers receive anonymous statistics, and AI features only send anything after you allow it.
8. Our content
The app, its text, design and code belong to UrgeLock. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial use. Don’t copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app.
9. Availability
We work to keep UrgeLock running, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change as the app improves.
10. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”, without guarantees of any particular result. To the extent the law allows, UrgeLock is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
