An account is optional — most people never create one, and nothing you log is tied to your name or email. Everything personal lives on your phone, so deleting it there removes it for good.
1. Erase everything on your phone (instant)
- Open UrgeLock
- Menu → Account Settings
- Scroll to Data Management → Delete My Data → confirm
This permanently removes your logs, triggers, progress, targets and settings, and empties the home-screen widget. It cannot be undone. Deleting the app itself has the same effect.
2. If you signed in with Apple or Google: delete your account (instant)
- Open UrgeLock → Menu → Account Settings
- Under Account, tap Delete account → confirm
This immediately deletes your UrgeLock account and the report saved for urgelock.com from our server. If you signed in with Apple, we also ask Apple to remove UrgeLock from “Sign in with Apple” for your Apple ID.
3. Ask us to delete server-side records
Our servers hold anonymous usage statistics (an app-opened count, a random identifier created on your device, and the figures you entered at setup). They are not linked to your name, email or phone number.
If you want those removed as well, email support@urgelock.com with the subject “Delete my data”. To find the records, we need the random identifier from your device — Menu → Account Settings, scroll to the bottom, and include the app version and roughly when you installed it. We confirm and complete deletion within 30 days.
If you joined the early-access list on this website, email us from the address you signed up with and we will remove it.
4. What we cannot delete
- Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat — they must keep these for tax and legal reasons.
- Support emails you sent us, if we need them for a dispute. Ask and we will delete what we can.
5. Cancelling a subscription is separate
Deleting your data does not cancel a paid subscription. Cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions (iPhone) or Google Play → Payments & subscriptions (Android).
